5 Alarming Signs You Must Know That Tell You Are Unhealthy (#5 You Did Not See Coming!)

While some people are well clued in on the state of the health from their unhealthy behaviours, there are some that go about life, ignoring some of the big signs that their health is in a bad state.
Here are the top 5 signs you SHOULD be looking out for:

1. Sleep Issues (Interrupted Sleep/Sleep Apnea/Insomnia) - If you’re struggling to fall asleep at night, there could be multiple things you need to look at for during your daily activities such as sunlight exposure, physical activity, caffeine intake, ingesting the wrong foods or total amount of food consumed.

2. Bathroom Problems - more specifically urine colouration (anything other than pale yellow and odourless), bowel movements solid and frequency 1-2 times a day at the same times. These two are great indicators of whether you’re eating enough and eating the right foods.

3 . Bad Skin - bad skin quality like oily skin, rashes and blemishes gives a great indicator of the overall health of your body. If you’re noticing any of these, there’s a clue that something could be wrong under the surface.

4. Body Temperature Fluctuations - Environmental factors aside, constant cold/icy feet and/or hands are indicators of your cardiovascular health and whether there could be any problems going on internally.

5. Chapped Lips - constantly having chapped lips is a big sign of potential nutritional deficiencies like low vitamin B levels, but realise low vitamin B means your ability to handle stress decreases and often sickness arises. (Realise why so many people in the winter get sick and there’s an over-reliance on lip balm, coincidence?)
